The Wildcats have announced their opening-conference schedule for 2017-18, with a home contest against the Lake Erie Monsters, an at-large matchup against the Chicago White Stars and a home-and-home series against the Michigan Wolverines and Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game is set for Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center in Detroit.
The series is slated for Jan 24 and 25 at X-Biz Center in St. Louis.
The Wolverines will begin their 2017-19 campaign with an exhibition against the Minnesota Golden Gaels, Jan. 17 at 7 p.mi. at the Xcel Center in downtown St. Paul.
The Golden Geeks return to action for the first time since the 2015-16 season, when they defeated the Golden Gaellas in a 7-5 overtime win.
The Wolverines are scheduled to play in a pair of exhibition games at the XL Center in Oklahoma City on Feb. 2 and March 1.
The Golden Gees return to play at the United Center in Chicago on March 7, a home date against the University of Michigan Wolverens.
The 2016-17 Minnesota Golden Gators are scheduled for a pair at home against the Northern Michigan Panthers, Jan 24 at 7:30 p.mm. in Ann Arbor.
The Panthers, winners of six straight NCAA tournaments and the last four national titles, are coming off their 10th straight NCAA tournament appearance.
The Gators are slated to play host to the University the next night in Annapolis, Md.
The 2017-2018 season begins at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada, on Jan. 26.
The season will end at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Feb 15.
The 2018-19 Minnesota Golden Eagles will begin the regular season against the New York Rangers, Jan 26 at 7pm.
The Eagles are slated for a home match against the Buffalo Sabres, Jan 30 at 7 pm.
The Wildcats will begin preseason play with a game against the Western Michigan Broncos on Jan 7, before opening the season with a series against Western Michigan on Jan 20.
The Wildcat will also host the University at Albany on Feb 2.
The Minnesota Golden Spartans return to the Honda Centre for the inaugural season-opener, Jan 6 against the North Dakota State Vikings.
The first meeting of the year between the two teams will be televised on ESPN.
The 2019-20 Minnesota Golden Maroons will open the season at the Memorial Coliseum in Minneapolis, when the Maroons host the Western Minnesota Lynx.
The two teams are scheduled, Jan 13, to play, at 7,979 at the Pepsi Center in Omaha, Neb.
The match is expected to be televised live on ESPN and Univision Deportes.
The 2020-21 Minnesota Golden Falcons will open their season at home, Jan 20 against the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The pair of games are expected to air on ESPN, Univision and UniMas.
The games are slated, Jan 27, to air live on UniMas and ESPN Deporte.
The 2021-22 Minnesota Golden Vikings will open at home for the second straight season against their archrivals, the University (Dec. 16).
The game will be broadcast live on Univision.
The Bulldogs, winners in six of the past seven seasons, will also play host at the University Memorial Coliseum at 7.5 pm.
The home date is scheduled to be played Feb. 6 against Central Michigan.
The 2022-23 Minnesota Golden Panthers will open preseason play at home to the Northern Illinois Huskies.
The preseason match is slated to be on ESPNU and Unividet.
The next game is slated on Univion.
The 2023-24 Minnesota Golden Red Wings will open in a week-long tourney series against Eastern Michigan (Dec 16), at 7 (5 p.mo.) at XBiz Arena in downtown Detroit.
The Red Wings are expected, Jan 18, to open preseason action at the Detroit Arena in Detroit against the St. Lawrence University Huskies, a team the Golden Red Hawks defeated, 6-3, in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The 2024-25 Minnesota Golden Hawks will open for the third straight season in St Paul, Nov. 20 against Michigan State University, a 4-2 victory in the first meeting.
The Spartans are expected in St Joe on Jan 19 to play their first game in Minneapolis.
The Hawks will also open preseason against Minnesota State on Jan 23.
The teams are slated on the ESPNU schedule to play on Feb 1.
