Colorado Springs, CO – June 29, 2018 – You can earn up to $10.5 million in Colorado this year on top of your minimum wage, according to a report released today by the Colorado Department of Revenue.
Colorado’s Economic Opportunity Office released the report in response to the Governor’s request for the tax filing this week.
The Governor’s tax filing deadline for 2018 is August 31.
The report said that for 2018, the median income in Colorado will be $54,000, which is more than double the statewide median income of $31,500.
The statewide median household income is $55,700, which makes Colorado Springs the second largest metropolitan area in the United States.
Colorado Springs, which has the second highest number of households in the state, has the lowest median income, at $27,700.
