It’s a gift for the dog colorblind.
“It’s like a coloring book with dogs and cats,” says Dan Oster, founder and president of Colorful Dog Books.
“And that’s what we’re trying to make it.
You get a book that is so perfect for the coloring of the dogs and the cats, so that’s a really nice gift.”
Oster’s books are designed for colorblinds who want to bring their dogs into the world, but also for those who are dog lovers who want the book to be something that they can carry with them while out and about.
For Colorful’s “Dog Color” series, Oster and his partner, Alex Gaudino, set out to make their favorite books easy to bring to the holidays, but that can be tough with coloring books, which are often expensive.
“I just got tired of people trying to come up with a way to get the color of the books out of them, which is kind of sad,” Oster says.
“So we thought, well, why not just make them free and give them away?”
The books are called “Dogs and Cats” and are available for $25 each, which means you could buy them for less than $10.
“Doggies and Cats,” a book about dogs and their personalities, is available for the same price as “Dog Color,” which is the book for dogs and people of all colors.
It’s designed to appeal to everyone and includes illustrations by Colorful illustrator Joe Zavala.
“We wanted a book for all people,” Oter says.
And they did.
“There’s a couple of things that we did that we think are really cool,” Ooster says.
One is that the color in the books is a combination of real dogs, so you can find the dog that you like.
“They’re not just random colors,” Osters says.
There are also three illustrations on the book that show a dog on a beach, which can be a nice touch, and a dog’s body, which gives you a sense of what a dog might look like when you are a child or when you’re young.
“The other thing that we’re really proud of is the fact that the books are handmade, and there’s an artisan in there,” Oester says.
The dogs are named “Cats,” and they’re named “Dads.”
“It is a really fun book,” Ozer says.
But “Daddy” and “Daddy’s,” the books about dogs, are not just fun.
“One of the things we realized is that if you’re a dog owner, you know how much people love to love their dogs, and it’s kind of hard to get a dog into the picture,” Oesten says.
If you’re looking for a gift, Ooster suggests picking up a “Doodle” or “Dog-Friendly” book.
The two books are available at a price of $20 each, so if you have some money, you could pick them up for less.
But if you want to give something away, Oesteins advice would be to pick up the book and read the illustrations.
“Just look at the pictures,” Ostedins says.
That’s what Colorful wants people to do with the books.
They want people to be able to say, “I’m going to get these dogs, because they’re amazing, because we love dogs and we love our dogs,” he says.
For those who like to give away, there’s another option: Oster sells the books at dog shows, where people can come and see the books and have a chance to buy them.
“If you’re at a dog show and you want one of the ‘Dogs’ books, we’ve got a book out for you,” Oosten says, listing the books, “DOGS AND CATS.”
And for people who don’t want to buy the books themselves, Osters is working on a book called “The Book of Dogs,” which would be a great gift for dog owners looking for an easy way to bring one of their dogs to the show.
“That’s a great book,” he said.
“You could put a dog in there, and they’d love it.”
